The Iron God

I am here for Friends

About Me

I made my myspace layout using Pimp-My-Profile.com

I don’t normally spend time yammering about myself, but seeing as this IS a place meant for that...
I am a god
The iron one
My neurons collect no dust
Fold the blank of my old bones
My Sword of Will is honed
No insult scuffs my metal
No games at my level
Heart and eyes glowing orange
My words ring of the forge
No borders denote my home
No brand names my soul
I am the one
The Iron God
My neurons will never rust
I shy from no trial
Stylishly attack with a lack of style
Am gracefully brutal
Am painfully truthful
Accurately address all tests with alacrity
I aspire to mastery
So when I finally lose my temper
And my gears simply won’t glow
I’ve engraved the world for the better
And another might pick up my mold
My name is Rob
The Iron God
My neurons have earned my trust
I am an anomaly of nature. I am the monster I made. And neither of these statements have negative connotations. I am the antonym of stagnation. I love everyone because I am compassionate. I hate everyone because they disappoint me. And neither of these feelings necessarily influence my actions. I am light and dark, neither of which are good nor evil. I have a dangerous mind that my allies need never fear. I care about nearly everything, but crush useless drama. I am bound by and empowered by my Honor. I see all, but certainly don’t know all. I am dead serious.

My Interests

Music, mayhem, art, war, movies, video games, linguistics, writing, literature, politics, psychology, philosophy, quantum physics, strategy, building impetus, technology, military history, you, strength, and damn near everything else. I'm easily intrigued.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow gods and loyal space monkeys. I have no care for the popularity contest here. I don’t need to collect a bunch of pictures of people I will never talk to. Sorry, but nobody alive has time for 500+ "friends". Not even 50. However, I'm altering my normally selective approach to my friends list in favor of exposing my blogs to a more diverse audience. What I'm after here is debate. Rational argument will further hone the understanding of all parties involved.

(Note: That 9/11 thing in my top friends isn't some typically candy-ass rememberance bullshit. It's a movie about how our government covered a ton of it up, and doesn't really get ultra convincing until about 20 minutes in.)

Music:

Death Metal! That, and evil symphony music. Its acceptable to include dark-wave or industrial in there on occasion as long as its suitably hateful. A few examples of the spectrum... Deicide, Meshuggah, Slayer, The Project Hate, Cradle of Filth, Morbid Angel, Lamb of God, The Black Dahlia Murder, Samael, Six Feet Under, Grave, Hatebreed, Vampire Mooose, Cephalic Carnage, Mastodon, Opeth, Otep, My Ruin, Clutch, Black Label Society, White Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Fear Factory, some of The Prodegy, Juno Reactor, Mindless Self Indulgence, and a lot of music from video games like Jade Emprire and Diablo II.

Movies:

I'm down with pretty much any movie, but my real favorites are sci-fi, horror, and anime. Quality anime only! Were I forced to choose a favorite, I could only narrow it to the top two. Those two are Fightclub and V for Vendetta. Saving Private Ryan comes in third place (its a violence thing). Other's I dig are the Alien movies, Resivior Dogs, Kill Bill, Night of the Living Dead, the original Star Wars, Cowboy Bebop, Equilibrium, L.A. Confidential, Soldier, Pitch Black, Dead Man, The Big Labowski, Outworld, Jurrassic Park (all 3), Terminator (all 3), Snatch, Conan: The Barbarian, It, Ravinous, Memento, Leon/The Professional, Resident Evil, Ronin, Startrek: Nemisis/First Contact/Insurrection, Way of the Gun, Mean Guns, The Thing, The Stand, Outworld, Boon Dock Saints, and so many more...

Television:

TV replaced the fireplace in the living rooms of all modern homes. So now instead of people sitting around a crackling flame, expressing ideas, communicating, and mastering the art of conversation.. you have people sitting around absorbing advertisements and bullshit. I don't like being zombified. I will, however, admit my love of Stargate: SG1, Battlestar Galactica, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Books:

Ah, books are the antidote for ignorance. I'll read anything except any more of the The Bible. If I'm gonna read fantasy, it'll be GOOD fantasy. Examples of such are Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, and all six of The War of the Spider Queen. I'm also a fan of Sun Tzu's Art of War, What the Bleep Do We Know?, How To Win Friends and Influence People, The Anarchist's Cookbook, and anything on psychology. The Assault On Reason, and When Corporations Rule the World are fundamental knowledge for anyone wanting to understand contemporary times. Uhm... if you don't read, don't bother talking to me.

Heroes:

V, Darth Maul, Data, Kuze (from Ghost In the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd Gig), and myself. What more need I say?..
