About Me

The ALTER EGOS SOCIETY is a loose collection of artists and functional nerds who band together in times of crisis to create an opportunity for people to wear tights in public. Most recently we did a big pub crawl with DrunkenRampage.com . Currently we are working on a superhero/villain short film to be released in the fall of 2008 along with the 2nd annual ALTER EGOS: Hero/Villain Ceasefire Party (a benefit for the local Portland non profit, p:ear ).

April has officially been declared Portland Comics Month by Mayor Potter, and we are proud to be part of that. We are also very excited about the upcoming STUMPTOWN COMICS FEST April 26th & 27th!!!

My Interests

Plots, justice, croquet, masks, capes (occasionally), and comfortable alternatives to spandex.

I'd like to meet:

People interested in working on ALTER EGOS SOCIETY'S NEXT PROJECT
...Also, Super heroes, super villains, the occasional antihero, and Don Knotts.

Movies:

This is an early special effects test for Alter Egos Short Film Project (in pre-production now)
We're looking for actors and others for this project. Drop us a line.

Heroes:

Concerning the April 12th event, ALTER EGOS: New Recruits, it was a success!!! Though the issue of the missing hero, Industrial, was never solved there were superheroes and villains parading through downtown, getting drunk and having mini battles and games. Hard to complain (unless you were an injured bystander).

This fabulous event was a collaboration between ALTER EGOS SOCIETY and the good folks at DRUNKENRAMPAGE.COM. (who are swell).
