About Me

Only one word...Massive!!! This spicy hot outfit delivers music that you can eat raw!. Their style is a unique fusion of music to make you dance. From styley raps to soulful singing its all wrapped up with a solid dose of groove.Joseph Amstad, front man and guitarist has a style of song writing that is fresh and invigorating. His attitude and experience expressed aptly on guitar and his vocals blend from soul to rap and back again.Moe Tamaako plays guitar like he's never done anything else. Effortless and smooth he works with Joe to create a listening sensation.Helen Carter plays Saxophone. Her horn lines sit understated with the groove until out of no-where blasts a sexy, blow-your-mind solo that hits you full force in the head and body.Gareth Walsh, bass player, adds a solid groove; weather reggae meets ska syncopation added with subtle infused melody lines.Rounding off this recipe for fun is Jason McMahon on the drums, mixing it up faster than a Kenwood beater and laying down the foundation of funk. Masef are simply a feast...... huge, monumental..... and ...well.... MASEF!
