The only way to escape the corruption of praise is to go on working...There is nothing else.

About Me

After 7 years hosting the Afternoon Show on KISS 106.1 in Seattle, I finally get my dream job: I'm running the place! BTW...I'm still around so, if you hear something on the station you don't like...holla.I mean it.

My Interests

I enjoy music to the fullest. From Bethoven to Busta Rhymes, Ambient sound to the All-American Rejects. Kanye West, Fallout Boy, Kelly Clarkson, Green Day and Natasha Bedingfield are some of my favorites. I love to travel, especially by airplane. I love to go somewhere just to say I have been there. I get my shop on at least 2x a month...I buy shoes like 3 pair at a time: one black pair, one brown pair and then a pair of new kicks. I get a rush from putting my credit card down and walking out with some new stuff. I LOVE great food...I could eat Asian food damn near every day. I especially love sitting down at a restaurant with a chef's tasting menu of stuff I have never heard of or a chinese banquet dinner. Chinese banquet dinners aka family dinners are the BEST! Imagine: 7 courses of all kinds of GREAT authentic Chinese food...unbelievable. I also love a great deli sandwich, burrito, greek food, fair food heck maybe even camp food. Except I have never been to camp. Is that too much about food? Obviously, I have to work out at least 3 times a week just to keep my weight manageable. I enjoy weightlifiting and boxing just so I can kick Keola's ass and keep my lard butt in check. I LOVE to read magazines as much as possible, prime time TV and gangster movies are also on the top of the list.

I'd like to meet:

Every KISS listener...seriously...that means you already like me.

Music:

Bands/artists I love:Snow Patrol Sean Paul Coldplay Nelly Furtado Teddy Geiger Ashley Parker Angel Panic! At The Disco Augustana Howie Day

Television:

Desperate Housewives, Over There, Rescue Me, The Shield, Prison Break, The Office, Gilmore Girls

Heroes:

The best way to describe my Pops Daniel(yes, that is where the D. in Marcus D. comes from)is to say he came from nothing. He crossed the boarder into the US from Mexico in 1969. He started sweeping floors in a lumber mill and 35 years later, he has since become a citizen and has a PHD in linguistics and travels around the country teaching the military how to speak spanish. He has always put others before himself. A more genuine human being you will never meet. He is my hero.
