About Me

I just launched a Health and Fitness company in San Diego. Please visit my website and tell me what you think. Thank you everyone for all the support so far.www.SkyHealthandFitness.comThis is my story: My name is Esteban but my nickname is Tico because I was born in Golfito, Costa Rica. I grew up in Manaus, Brasil before moving for a year with my grandparents to La Paz, Bolivia. My brother and I later joined our parents in Bangkok, Thailand for three years. Before moving back to Costa Rica my parents and I lived briefly in Italy and now my family has settled in San Jose, Costa Rica. I was fortunate to do all this traveling before I was 17 years old. My first 3 1/2 years of college I attended the University of Hawaii and later transferred to San Diego State graduating in 2000. Six countries and 3 languages later, I now call San Diego home and have decided to settle down here for a while. If I'm not at work, you can probably find me riding my skateboard down the boardwalk with my dog Rayden, or at the beach playing volleyball and enjoying the weather. Pura Vida! My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I want to travel the world, learn a new language in the process and eat a different dish everywhere I go while meeting quality people along the way.

Music:

Salsa, Merengue, Hip-hop, Rap, Reggae, House, Rock. My goal is to learn to play an instrument next year.

Movies:

I love movies and I used to go watch them more before but I haven't in a while. Some of my recent favorites have been The Departed, Smoking Aces and 300. I like action movies, but I also really enjoy a good drama that leaves you thinking about the movie for a couple of days. Blood Diamond was excellent, I highly recommended. Right now in my DVD I have Eddie Murphy RAW, absolutely hilarious!

Television:

If you don't have a TIVO, get one. Since my trip to Europe I have been watching the Travel channel a lot trying to figure out my next adventure. Besides that, I Tivo a couple of shows and don't try to waste too much of my time with the TV, but football season is starting so I will be watching Sportscenter non stop.

Heroes:

My parents and brother have been a great inspiration in my life in different ways. Don Ricardo is my hero, he would laugh if he read this.
