Founding members, Wes and Jeff, of now defunct metal machine, Tomb, re-join with former singer, James, and new member, long time friend and veteran skinsman, Cam, to form Lack O' Boatus. 10 years after the final stage appearance of Tomb, the creative minds of these four musicians have joined forces to bend music genre boundaries. In late 2006, the four met to discuss the possibilty of forming a new band that would not be limited to any specific genre and would allow them to take any direction they wish. Agreeing that nothing would be taboo to the band, experimentation took the forefront. The band hopes to incorperate all types of instruments into their music and will include special guest appearances by friends and local musicians alike. With the use of limited recording equipment and a new computer, the band crammed into a small room in the back of a house near Hagersville, Ontario and the writing process began. Now late in 2007, a vast library of tunes in progress has been compiled by Wes and Jeff and await reworking and completion by the band as a whole. The songs posted here are early workings of songs written and performed by Wes. The band is hoping to release material sometime in early to mid 2008.
