Hi my name is Chris Leonard. I'm 28 years old from london. I'm a musician/songwriter. My main instrument is guitar but i sing, play bass and piano too. I've been playing and writing music since the tender age of four and have been lucky enough to spend the last 8 years doing it professionally. Over the years i've been in many bands such as The starlings, Little giants, Kudor 8, Stamford amp, Speedway and Son of dork. The last three of these bands all produced major record deals for me and all three spent time in the uk singles and album charts so i'm no stranger to the funny (and sometimes evil) world of the music business... I've also done a lot of session work and have played, recorded, toured and promoted with artists such as Mark Owen, Paolo Nutini, Delta Goodrem, Scratch (The roots), Busted, Brian McFadden, Ross Copperman, David Sneddon and All Saints. I'd like to stress that although all pop artists and musicians are forced to mime at some stage in their careers the vast majority of work that i've done has been live work and for me that's very important and what it's all about. I've also become heavily involved with songwriting and love it almost as much as i love playing music. I've written songs with artists ranging from Paolo Nutini (what a voice!), Brian McFadden, David Gest, Scratch (The roots), Ross Copperman, Jake Schulze, Carl Bjorsell and Sebastian Thott (Britney Spears, Westlife, N-Sync etc...), Stuart Zender (jamiroqui) Ben Mills and Ashley McKenzie (both x-factor), Matt Willis and Son of dork. I'd love to hear from other musicians, songwriters, producers and anyone else who's not a dick.
