My oldest is my only son DJ. He has been dancing for 9 years, and just recently started back to competition dance. He is a freshman this year although most people think he is considerably older than he actually is. He's doing well in school this year, has a 4.0 GPA and loves high school.
My middle child and oldest daughter is Caitlin. Caitlin is a very pretty young lady. She has a unique sense of humor, a good writer, and has amazing musical talent. School isn't really her thing, she gets bored easily with it, but loves the social scene.
My youngest is my other daughter Elizabeth. She has been a surprise in every way! Including the fact that she is here! She arrived long after we thought we were done! She is also a dancer, having grown up practically in a dance studio, and loves dancing. She is highly intelligent, and more mature than most kids twice her age.
My next favorite thing after my family are my dogs. We lost our "perfect" dog earlier this year. I think everyone gets a chance at having that one dog who is so special, you base your judgement of all other dogs on them. Mistletoe was that dog for us. She pretty much was the perfect dog, at least as she got older (we conveniently forget that as a puppy she ate through a wall, twice, and chewed up the hubby's water bed frame, and the kitchen chairs). She was our best friend, and we still miss her, and will for a very long time.
We still have two goldens, Christmas Snow and our Chance Man. Chance is our adopted rescue dog. Because of him we have gotten involved in a golden retriever rescue group name Dirk's Fund. We now foster dogs for the group, which is one of the hardest jobs, but brings so much joy into our life. We have now fostered and found homes for Clark, Obi, Max, Sara, and now we have Molly. Molly has had a hip replacement and is just now turning 1 year old. She is a great gal, and as we did with the others, as soon as she is well we will find her a forever home and that looks like it will be with us!
Losing my dad, and having had a couple of health issues the past couple of years helped me rediscover my spirituality. I have always had an interest, but recently have been working harder at it. I find that more and more I am trusting and believing in my intuition. This has introduced me to some very special people, who have taught me and guided me, and made my life so much better.
The most amazing experiences are out there for you, if you
Just believe....
