Since 1967, The Soul Brothers Motorcycle Club is still riding strong, This organization started with group of close friends that liked to ride their bikes together. They showed a united front on other motorcycle sets and even considered joining other organizations in the Bay Area. Three years later in 1967, this close group of friends organized The Soul Brothers Motorcycle Club in East Palo Alto California.Racing was (AND STILL IS) a big part of the club when it was formed. The Soul Brothers raced anywhere and everywhere there was a straight road from the drag strip in Fremont California to The Dumbarton Bridge.Toward the middle of the year in 1967, The Soul Brothers organization designed a patch that signified what they stood for UNITY. Their patch showed everyone that the color of your skin was not important. What is important is brotherhood among men regardless of race. This club was making history. In the 1960's there were far and few racially mixed biker organizations. On Labor Day in 1967, The Soul Brothers Motorcycle Club had their first official bike run that consisted of 57 members. The 1960's came and went but the Soul Brothers are still here.
