My name is Abel Longoria and I'm a photographer here in Houston. I've been involved with photography very heavily for about 2+ years now and have loved every minute of it. My girlfriend Lisa just recently got one of my "hand me down cameras", that's what she likes to refer the Canon 20D that I gave her when I bought my new Mark IIN. She's enjoyed going out to different shoots with and now she has an opportunity to do a little shooting herself.
Almost two years ago I created a photography forum just for photographers here in the state of Texas. The site is named TexasPhotoForum.com and we're sitting at 7,300+ members from all over Texas. We have had a great response to the forum and I am sure it will continue to grow in the years to come. It has been amazing, Lisa and I have learned so much and met so many great people because of the forum. It has been great to find other people in our region that have the same passion for photography that we do.
