I went to cosmotology school and decided it wasn't for me, so I finished but never bothered with the test. I still love to do make-up and hair for friends, though. I went to Culinary school and loved it, but my back problems didn't. So now I cook for friends and family. I recently finished a year's study at SCSU for costume design and I think I've finally found my home. I love it, live for it, dream patterns in my sleep and am currently looking to make what career I can out of it in the small area I live in. As long as I've got something to do, I'll be happy.
Friends from my past I've lost track of over the years, you know who you are. I've found some of you back...(Tracey and Marie, my cross the state to see who's playin' where grrls). Now I just need to round up the rest of you...
I love all kinds, especially weird kinds. I take that back, I don't like country, most of it is whiney, it's annoying and after listen to it I can tell why everyone in the songs are either dead, leaving, drunk or their car won't start because it's scared of what's gonna be on the radio in it when it does. LOVE these guys on first listen:
Cheesey movies, MST3K, Godzilla, classic horror and thrillers. I don't do "chick flicks". ANYTHING WITH VINCENT PRICE!!!!! I LOVE the scifi channel on weekends, nothing but non-stop cheese. Did I mention I love Vincent Price?
I am a LOST addict, I admit it. I also like TAPS, Hell's Kitchen and I'm chewing on my last peice of chiffon waiting for season 4 of Project Runaway (Santino was ROBBED!)
SciFi Geek all the way, books about the paranormal, Steve Alten's MEG series and The Loch, vintage sewing and fashion books, books about costumes and design. And my all time fav, Shakespeare.
My daughter, my TangeeLaLa, Edith Head, Vivian Leigh
