Movies:
I love to watch classic Cary Grant, Doris Day Audry Hepburn movies and Judy Garland is another one of my favorites. The simple class of the old movies and old way of life makes me wish I was a part of that generation.Anne of Green Gables is very long, but so worth it.I can quote...Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink. You know the Brat Pack Movies of the 80's are always a classic.Worst Movie...Zoolander no wait...Hellboy
Television:
I tend to watch HGTV most of the time. I also enjoy watching the history channel. Friends is a new classic that will always be funny to me.
There is no real theme to the types of shows that I like, I guess I find things that are on when I have some free time.
Books:
The Bait of satan is the book i am currently reading. It has been so insightful that I dont want to put it down. I recomend it for anyone that has hit a road block in their relationship with God or in their personal relationships. You might just find that you expect more from those you love and therefore hold deeper grudges against them. I also take time to read Bible almost daily.
I like to read things that will help me be a better person.
Heroes:
Well as my mom so graciously put it, my generation didnt have very many strong role models. Most of them were ficticious characters in a tv show. I mean face it...the pickins were slim with Boy George,Michael Jackson, OJ Simpson, Madonna.
So my true heros are my parents for still being together after my Dad was in the service for 21 years. It takes an amazing woman to hold a family and a marriage together in the military. Momma Bea (my moms mom) has always showed me what it is to be a proactive woman and still be submissive to authority.
There are people that have blessed my life and made me a better person and I am thankful everyday for them.
I have a select group of friends that have stood by me through very difficult times and have loved and encouraged me and have become heros in my life. I will always be thankful for those that were there when everyone else seemed to fade away, the one who didnt always agree with my actions, but gently encouraged me to do the right thing.
A hero to me is someone that lives their life being true to their word, real with those around them and honest about who they really are.
Thank you to all of you that have blessed my life and been here for me.
