Question and Answer Session with Anna Luxion:
Q: What exactly do you do?
A: (Laughs) Well, I sing, play guitar, and write my own music.
Q: And how long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been singing my entire life; pretty much since I was able to talk. My mom used to sing prayers and things to me in place of lullabies, so I’ve really grown up just loving music my entire life. Guitar and writing music however - that takes a bit of thinking. I started playing guitar in early/mid 2004, but didn’t really start writing until late ’04/early 2005. And in some case, I don’t think I really seriously started writing music with the idea of a CD until some time in 2006.
Q: If you could only use one word to describe your music, what word would you use?
A: Soul.
Q: Why that particular word?
A: For me, the soul is where it all happens - and I really believe that. My music springs from my soul, and is really just another way for me to express how much I love God, and how thankful I am for these gifts He’s given me.
Q: Is there anything in particular you’d like people out there to know?
A: I have a CD coming out! - it’s called Promise (EP), and should be out by some time in 2008. It’s $10 per CD, so if anyone’s interested, let me know! Also, I’m going to be touring around the US and (hopefully) Canada this summer (2008), so if people are interested in having me come to their area they should let me know (here, or email)!
