About Me

(XKDC is awesome.)

My Interests

Travel, art, travel, sculpture, travel, sewing and costume design, travel, hiking, travel, anime, travel (ok I'll stop), good friends, good times, good food, nature, books & book arts, photography, and really? It's a big world and there's a lot that interests me and I'd like to explore as much as I can.

Music:

Massive Attack, Franz Ferdinand, Led Zeppelin, SRV, B.B. King, Leo Kottke, Yoko Kanno, Bach, NIN, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Primus, Elbow, Beastie Boys, Crooked Fingers, Gorillaz, David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Jethro Tull, A.R. Rahman, and a lot more that I'm too much of a lazy bastard to list. (Technically, I'm not a bastard. Shhh.)

Movies:

Seven Samurai, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, Lord of the Rings, Shaun of the Dead, Cowboy Bebop, Akira, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Man From Snowy River and there are more... I'm just lazy.

Samurai 7, Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, Fruits Basket, Vision of Escaflowne, Genshiken, FLCL, Samurai Champloo, Avatar the Last Airbender, Daria, Myth Busters, Adult Swim, the Daily Show, Lost, Coupling (the British version is bloody brilliant), Whose Line is it Anyway (Brit or American), Monty Pyton, Eddie Izzard...

Books:

Charlotte's Web has a very special place in my heart, but I also love Catch-22, Green Grass Running Water, God of Small things, In a Sunburned Country, Desert Solitaire and Leaves of Grass are some of my favorites. I also dig Shakespeare (ya rly), Bill Bryson, Wheel of Time series, Harry Potter, anything by Dick Francis or J.A. Jance. O HAY I LEIK MANGA AND COMIX. Berserk, Tokyo Babylon, Scott Pilgrim and Strangers in Paradise. (Also, there's more... but lazy)

Heroes:
