About Me


A native to San Francisco, Julie Henderson studies Fine Arts and Gender & Sexualities at USF while working at the Human Rights Campaign Action Center & Store in Castro, SF's premiere queer neighborhood. While she's not in class or adding to her body of artwork, Julie can be seen performing at The Canvas Art Gallery's Wednesday open mic nights as well as other venues throughout the city. Up ahead this year are scheduled performances at Holly's Haunted Women's Weekend in Lake Tahoe (sponsored by Curve Magazine) and Chicago Pride '07.
Julie has collaborated with producer Matt Bowen to shell out her current repertoir of songs. "Other Girl" and "She Comes to Mind" are the first two tracks off of the album Songs in the Key of She. Other music off the album includes the following tracks:
