About Me

As if I'm not taking up enough space already - now I've got more space on Myspace. Is there some place I can store my camping stuff?I'm an athlete and a coach (and a son and a husband and an earthling - not sure how far MySpace reaches). Without question endurance athletics is my primary interest weather it's running, cycling, triathlon, adventure racing, open water swims - I'm deeply passionate about sport!!

My Interests

Swim, bike, run, mtn bike, surf, peace, language, positivity, sincerity, humor, and more.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is challenging themselves athletically. If that means you somehow made it through primary school without attending one PE class and now you're an adult and ready for an athletic challenge. Or if that means you're an elite athlete who is trying to breakthrough to the next level - I'm eager to hear your tale and support you any way I can!!

Music:

I go through phases - for example in high school all the girls were completely gaga over Duran Duran and I simply hated them. Then in my early 20s they came out with an album that I thought had 4-5 great songs. Mostly I like classic rock and roll but yesterday I got into this Stevie Wonder jag in the car and played Superstition over and over about a dozen times. I'm open to a lot of music.

Movies:

Some favs include: Blade Runner, The Croupier, Caddy Shack, American Fliers (that Alexandra Paul woman is super hot!!). I recently watched one of the original "Film Noir" flicks called Double Indemnity - brilliant!!

Television:

I don't have TV in my house for personal reasons that will now be exposed to all. I have few vices; I don't drink nor smoke nor do drugs but I am a TV addict. I can waste hours and hours in front of the tube. HOWEVER - I do watch two shows on the internet: The Daily Show with John Stewart and Lost.

Books:

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand , the Alienit by Caleb Carr, Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins, The Reader by Bernard Schlink, The Book of Revelations by Rupert Thomson, pretty much anything John Krakauer (Into the Wild, Into Thin Air, Under the Banner of Heaven)

Heroes:

Alexandra Paul, Jonathan Paul, Terry Murray, Dick Dorworth, Gary Lazer, kinda have a soft spot for Jack Lalanne but I know so little about him.
