Some have been asking me what the book is about. Critics of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints often use the Holy Bible to assert that we are not Biblical Christians by misinterpreting and misquoting scripture. Some critics simply do not understand how Latter-day Saints can use the Bible as a source for spiritual guidance and hold beliefs that other Christian churches do not. Others do not even realize that we use the Holy Bible. This book explains how Latter-day Saints controversial beliefs are Biblical and also examines the references used by the critics and puts them into proper context. I have chosen topics that I have personally been confronted with and share my experiences in the book. I also include my testimony of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I have been very thorough in explaining the chosen topics and hope that the information in the book will help Latter-day Saints to gain a deeper understanding of the Gospel contained in the Holy Bible and strengthen testimonies. It is also my hope that other Christians may read it and come to a true understanding of the relationship between the Holy Bible and the Church of Jesus Christ.
