The Civies formed in 2000 from three former members of Good For Nothin (Portland OR 1996-2000). We're definetly not new to this game. If you have a club chances are, we've played it. Your buddys got band chances are, we've played with them. We do what we do because we love it, simple as that. We still have fun playing for people who still have fun going to shows. It has been a pretty interesting ride so far, and it's far from over. We have just added a second guitarist the band (Blaine Gorze), and are now looking towards the future. We are preparing for the release of our first full length album " Dare to Struggle, Dare to Win", due out this summer. "Dare to Stuggle, Dare to Win" is a 21 song collection of our music through out the past 5 years. We are very excited to share this with everyone. Playing music is what we love to do.If there's one thing you can always count on it is that we will never stop doing what we love to do.
