About Me

Hi, im david, im 24, live in Tamworth (which has few if any redeeming features) when I was 14 (1998) I had 2 brain tumours, I had brain surgery, and an intensive course of radiotherapy, and the tumours have been gone since, and long may they stay away. Been in hospital again recently suffered a couple of fits, but am ok, just got some new medication, and gonna get on with life. Other than that I love music, from listening to or going to gigs, discovering new bands, getting into old bands. To be honest its what I live for, there just aint nothing like the feeling of hearing a great new band, or discovering a band from years ago, who make you think 'why havnt I heard these before' and take over your life.As for work, i've volunteered with Barnardos for over 3 years, and am now doing paid work as a playworker, helping to run a youth group for the children we work with, imagine byker grove, sort of like that, if nothing like that at all! also do work in schools, and other stuff in our office, it's a good mix of stuff, never boring.

My Interests

Football-long time supporter of aston villa, dont get down as much as I did, too expensive, pricing ordinary folk out the game blah blah blahFilm-love going to cinema, like most genres of filmMusic- My one true passion. Whether it's going to a gig, listening to a cd/record, or reading about it, music is the one thing in my life that keeps me going. I dj too, which I love doing. Check out the flyer below, it's for a night I dj at called Rebellious Jukebox.

I'd like to meet:

Other people who have a passion for music from obsessing over bands, going to gigs, love the buzz of discovering new music, whether it be a new band or an old one you never heard before, and generally people who like a laugh, dont take themselves to seriously, and people who just love to live life to the max

Music:

Love most types of music, would take ages to write a list of every band I like or listen to regularly, lets just say my ears are open to anything, best way to be keep your mind open and let it all come in. Maybe i'll update this soon, but im too tired to type right now!
