Here at Canvas Creations we have the capability to turn photography into paintings. This is obtained by using a technique known as 'Giclee printing'. A giclee in a French word meaning "fine spray". It is a computer generated print of artwork or photograph that is produced by spraying the image onto canvas. It is basically a form of inkjet printing, offering an affordable means to reproduce artwork for the artist and customer alike. Images are scanned, may be enhanced or manipulated digitally, and then printed onto canvas with a high resolution inkjet printer using high-quality archival inks. After sealed, the ink is guaranteed not to fade for 90 years! Fine art and photographic printing has been revolutionized with this Giclee printing process, giving both the artist and the customer a print that is high in quality and resolution.
