Double Z sprang from a dream to change the way music is promoted and marketed. Starting out as musicians, we followed the logical progression of our passions to be on the cutting-edge of musical exploration. “In concept, we wanted the music and experience to capture the essence of jazz in today's context. Being products of our environment it's an event that comes from all the things we've lived through and listened to, and all that madness that surrounds us. The event is a collection of all things ‘groovy’, reflecting the new beat of city living and and how it has affected us.” says Yeow, the founder of the collective. Affiliated to the club nights of Giant Step(NYC), SoulIISoul Sound System (UK),!K7 (Germany) and Quango (USA), Future Sound of Jazz (UK), Double Z is slated to be one continous jam. Double Z, the essential meeting point for a new age public, cutting-edge artists and the most influential sectors of music and modern arts.
