About Me

I grew up in Odessa, TX. Growing up, my dad was a paper salesman. In high school, I tried for the cheerleading team and made it. Then one day, I realized I could regenerate myself and couldn't die. Then I found out I was adopted, and my mom could make fire and my dad could fly. Then I met my uncle when this guy showed up at my school and tried to kill me. Oh wait, this isn't my story - this is Claire Bennett's story, from the best show on cable, Heroes.I am actually from Haddam, CT, and a lawyer, not a cheerleader. Although Haddam is in the middle of the state just west of the CT River, as far as sports teams go I am from the MA side of CT.My dad is not a paper salesman, but when I was little, I did think I was adopted. Two of my favorite movies were Star Wars and The Parent Trap, so I thought there were long-lost twins in every family. I remember being about 6 and asking my parents on a fairly regular basis if I was adopted or had a long-lost twin somewhere. I would tell them that I was old enough to handle the truth, so they should just tell me. Little did I realize, I look exactly like what a mix of my parents would look like, but I really wanted a twin sister. (In my mind, either my sister or I could be the one living with our "real" parents).

My Interests

Anything that goes vroom or sparkles.

I'd like to meet:

i would like to meet people who will accept money and favors in exchange for being my friend. the cheaper the better, though, because i don't have very much money. low quality friends, please, that's who i'd like to meet.this description of who i'd like to meet has been the same for a long time. that's because i still have very little money, and in fact, i don't have any friends because even low quality friends cost too much.

Television:

I previously said that, not having cable, Heroes was the best show around. After having cable for 6 months, I can still say Heroes is totally sweet and the best show ever. Other shows I enjoy are The Colbert Report, Daily Show, Iron Chef, Top Chef, Reno 911, King of the Hill, and Law & Order. My boyfriend likes Jericho, but only because he has a big gay crush on Skeet Ulrich, who I think is lame.

Books:

Lord of the Rings is possibly the best trilogy since the first 3 Sweet Valley High books. And the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure are the best...

Heroes:

Frodo, Yoda - and anyone else who is shorter than me and whose name contains "od" followed by a vowel.
