I'm a music geek and can probably go on for ages... but to name a few in no particular order: R.E.M., sigur ros, jawbreaker, polyphonic spree, the pixies, bright eyes, jeff buckley, hot water music, damien rice, ray lamontagne, jawbox, The clash, Joe Strummer, sunny day real estate, jimmy eat world, modest mouse, klaxons, explosions in the sky, the draft, elliot smith, david sedaris (yes he is an author but you have to hear him live), and you will know us by the trail of the dead, eels, the flaming lips, Johnny Cash, travis, regina spektor, my chemical romance, mogwai, the jealous sound, death cab for cutie, wilco, the postal service, the killers, rilo kiley, hope of the states, mogwai, godspeed you black emperor, pearl jam, muse, queen, social distortion, The shins, for squirrels, atom and his package, the fire theft, old 97s, dogs die in hot cars, ben folds (five), magnetic fields, etc..... i would list more but it would go on forever i imagine
Garden State, Star Wars, Shaun of the dead, Hot Fuzz, Wet Hot American Summer, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Rudy, Mel brooks films, spiderman, most superhero films even if they are cheesy, citizen kane, leonard part 6 (ok im lying about that)
heroes, battlestar galactica, scrubs, lost, father ted, monty python, fawlty towers, spaced, The State, reno 911, Iron Chef, Best Week Ever, The daily show with Jon Stewart, Arrested Development, Ninja Warrior (anyone see that show it's crazy), etc
the hitchikers guide to galaxy " trilogy" and so far i have enjoyed all the books written by Jasper Fforde, David sedaris, christopher moore, Dave Eggers, Neil Gaiman, many a comic book and like my music i read quite a lot it is really hard to list.
Green Lantern, Batman, spiderman, superman, most of the x-men, Martin Luther King Jr., my parents, anyone who does something for their own personal enjoyment because lets face it to do something without caring what people think is pretty damn awesome.
