In late Summer of '86 Rippin Rob Rigor did another carreer jump From Big Ed Drapper's "RIGORMORTIS" (R.I.P) (On Mystic's It came from Slimey Valley)
to the OC's very own "D.I.'s" So the boys were guitarless and called Robert's ex band mate "Dave Anger" (formerly of MeninBlack, Crankshaft "Slimey Valley", Emotional Pain) and asked him to join: So Rigormortis was to continue on with the Original members Big Ed, Mike Knox Chris Kidd and new addition Dave Anger!, then all of a sudden... Ed was out!!! Mike wanted to try a different approach and steer away from their Hardcore Punk roots , Frankie Renfield who was local collectivee of the Hollywood scene was brought in by Mike and the whole format of the band changed from Hardcore to a more pop energy style. His Vocals were much different and with more range so... Frankie was in!!! so, Dave said they needed a new name and he came up with "Sounds of $uksexx!" ( " Success" for those iliterate iligitamites) Dave thought the people would go nutz trying to figure out how to pronounce the name... Ha Ha he was always a Joker!! They're debut at the Scream Downtown LA got a great response. So they played the local scene at that time " Anti Club, Scream, White Trash , Whisky a Go Go,the Krypt and other local venues opening and playing with 45 Grave, Kommunity FK, Screams for Tina and other Gothic, experimental, different new sound searching acts. Luck would have it, they were offered a small part in a movie as the School Dance Band. It was being Produced by Chris Kidd's father who also produced "Suburbia" and the 1st "Decline of the Western Civilization". The movie our boys were going to Star in was "Cheerleader Camp" starring Leif garret, yup Leif garret!!!, Teri Weigel Playboy Centerfold before she went XXX!! and Rebbecca Ferratti Playboy Centerfold, In a Blood curdling thriller!!! if you wanna see the boys in action you can get the DVD at Amazon.com, when they returned home there were some personal differences and sadly they went their separate ways... here are the "Sounds of $uksexx!!" enjoy. also go to the VIDEO section and watch Frankie wiggle his tush!!!! all songs are copyright w/BMI Music inc and the property of Sounds of $ukexx
