There isn't too much I won't listen to (well, not really lovin rap or hip hop), but I think I will always be stuck in the 80's; still lovin' most of the hair bands of back then. I have seen Dokken, Billy Squier (2 times), Ratt, Quiot Riot--and danced with the recently deceased Kevin DuBrow. RIP. :(--, ZZ Top, Nazareth, Aerosmith, AC/DC and many others, along with most recently Taylor Hicks. Movies:
I love to laugh more than just about anything, so comedies/action comedies are my first pick. Tear-jerkers terrify me, but if you like those, try The Notebook or Million Dollar Baby. Some of my favs: Norbit, Napoleon Dynamite, Shrek, School of Rock, Tomb Raider, Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory, Nell, Wildflowers, A Star is Born (1979), The Exorcist, School of Rock, Under the Tuscan Sun, Lethal Weapon--esp. w/Joe Pesci, Nothing to Lose, The Lost Boys, Along Came Polly, Second Hand Lions, Bad Boys, Rush Hour, Alien vs Predator, Miss Congeniality, The Abyss.
Television:
Not a big fan of sitting in front of the TV, but since The Osbourne's broke my heart & decided to make their private lives....private again, I've found I really like... Little People...Big World, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Shows about Ghosts & Hauntings, Weeds, Naked Archaeologist, If Walls Could Talk, House, Pinks All Out, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, The Munsters and most every show on the Food Network. Also love the History Channel, Science Channel & Discovery. And I decided to give American Idol another chance this year. GO DAVID COOK!Loved Northern Exposure!! :)
Books:
Ok, so I am a book freak! My dream job would be at a library or book store. SERIOUSLY!! Diana Gabaldon, Karin Slaughter, Kathy Reichs, John Sandford, Karen Robards, Stephen White, and Diane Mott Davidson are just a few of my favorites. I will read just about anything! I also like to read anything on ancient history/archeology/anthropology.I am also trained in death investigation, so I read anything pertaining to that/forensics. Oh...and I collect cookbooks too! :)
