About Me

Hey there and welcome to my Page
I'm currently on the Nationwide UK Tour of The Meat Loaf Trilogy as Keyboards & Rock Organs Player. On the tour I have both my Korg Triton Extremes (the 88 key Piano and the 61 key synth) all midi-ed together. Most of the Sounds I use are Korg CX3 Organ and the mighty Bösendorfer Piano but I am also using Big Brass on the Synth and Mercato Violins for the soft, subtle songs like Anything For Love and Two Out Of Three.
Background - About Me:
I'm a classically trained Pianist and Musician. By the time I was 15 I was orchestrating 40s Swing for Big Band Sound. I spun sideways and studied as a Church Organist for 3 years playing in such places as Brecon Cathedral. I also studied the Clarinet, Sax and Bassoon of all things. In short, most instruments I picked up I could play with relative ease and enjoyed learning to play! But my heart and passion is for Keyboards.
Sadly I had a major sporting injury which crushed my fingers when I was 17 and my intentions of going to the Royal Academy were quashed as the injuries took nearly a year to heal and much more practice to regain my technique. Out but not down, I refused to give in and whilst building my daytime career as a Certified Public Accountant, I kept music in my life and taught myself the technology that went behind the art of modern Keyboard Players and finally formed a major Tribute Show to Meat Loaf just after the Millenium.
The challenge was immense! Long lamenting Piano based songs with plenty of Hammond Organ, Mellotron & Moog sFx so sink my teeth into. It required not just concentration and phenomenal memory! but also every bit of my classical pianist skills. Recreating this unique style of music has been so much fun and has grown me as a Stage Player in leaps and bounds.
I have also guest performed as John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin with American Tribute favorites Lets Zeppelin! Songs such as No Quarter and Kashmir live, you just can't beat it! Fantastic or What!
