JAYDASH PRODUCTIONS

Jay Dash productions was born Silent Sounds Musik back in the late 90's in my CHI CITY. I am Jay Dash the other half of Silent Sounds. Over the years I have noticed that when it comes to musik I have multiple personalities and this is my inspiration for producing the musik that I do. Bjork, Massive atteck, Tricky, TV on the Radio, Radio Head, the RZA, Portishead, have all been influences in my life as well as a shit load of other artist. Unfortunately it cost money to keep my sounds going and there has not been enough resources or time devoted to my craft, but this year that is all about to change.The tracks playing above were made on a Yamaha MOTIF 8 and MPC 2000 over 3 years ago. The program Reason was used in making the track named Defiant. I have not used samples and have played all my drums from scratch (no looped drum kits and sounds) and every other sound you hear is played by myself.Again, my creativity was someone stumped because of my lack of resources and limited time to use "other peoples equipment". You can never play with someone elses toys as if they are your own. That tide is about to change and soon I will be releasing some of the illest shit known to man. This is my gift to those who appreciate a different sound. Stay tuned.My boss is coming----damn it.
