Air Radio

Hello we are Air Radio. We are a Miami local band that has been together for about 10 years. Our influences are U2, Incubus, Rush, and many many more. The guys are Juan, Felix, Jorge, and Luis. Although these are typical Latin names our music is far from it. That doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate a good lechon once in a while. Juan is a Jersey boy that grew up listening to the likes of The Boss, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan and many other storytellers. His writing style would be considered folk rock because although the music has an edge to it, it tells a story. If there is one thing that he gets from the others is that their passion for music and their love for the untypical taught him to look beyond himself and find the hidden potential that was yet undiscovered. And boy is he ever handsome. Felix is a Cuban American youngster that is a little scary behind the drums. Don’t let his nice smile and rugged manhood fool you. (Man! What the hell am I smoking?) Felix is not your typical drummer. He is a perfectionist that will not allow room for mistakes. This makes him an integral part of this band and the rock on which we roll. Jorge, wow! what can I say. The guy has more talent in his little finger than Luis has on his big toe. Jorge can play drums, guitar, and bass. If you let him he would probably direct an orchestra. Just kidding he can’t read music. The guy is a raw talent that allows him to be himself without having to worry about d diminished 7s or any of that shit. Oh yeah and what a body this guy has. (No seriously, what the hell am I smoking?) Last but definitely not least there is Luis. The guy behind the sound. The guy behind the best bass playing in Miami, but he will never admit to that. The guy behind the label. The guy behind the dj booth. The guy behind the apple computer orchestrating every sound that comes out of Air Radio. Luis has a never ending spirit coupled with determination that will never die. Luis has been labeled for many years as the hardest working man in television. If it wasn’t for him our sound would not be possible. Oh yeah, what cute cheeks he has. (Oh my God, what the hell is wrong with me!) Ok the truth is out. I love those guys and I would gladly have their baby. Ok, maybe not. But seriously folks. We have big dreams that one day people will hear our words and be moved by our stories. We write about people's suffering, happiness, loves that got away and bitter sweet thoughts. We enjoy the company of strangers that share our passion and love spending time with musicians that are not full of shit.
