About Me

Well...it's official. I'm a doctor:) I graduated in May '07 and I have a new job as a small animal veterinarian. I am actually back where I worked as a tech in high school. So if you have any puppies or kittens that need some medical attention...bring 'em down!
I LOVE music!! I love our local bands and dj's, and any good acts that come through. As long as the music is good and the beer is cold...I am happy:) Which means I am really going to miss Gainesville:( I also LOVE to travel! Anytime I get some time off, I am outie. The places I must go next...Ireland, Honduras, Australia, Japan, Alaska. A trip around the world would be nice:) Word!

Music:

Just too many to list...but I like a lot of local bands, anything with a reggae/dub feel, blues and all of it's underlings, indie/lo fi/folk as long as no one is screaming inappropriately in the songs, downtempo/nu jazz/bossanova etc are my life soundtrack, good 80's music, then there are some oldies but goodies that always put on a smile. Basically if it has a good basline and a healthy dose of funk...I will probably love it:) You can check out what I have been listening to on last.fm...

Movies:

I love obscure, smart films. Foreign and independent films rock as well. The darker and more twisted, the better.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, ER, Trading Spaces, The Daily Show, Conan, Austin City Limits, Myth Busters, Jeopardy, Miami Ink, American Idol. I love the Discovery channel, Comedy Central, TLC, and the Food Network.

Books:

I got a job!!!

Today I signed a contract with Black Creek Vet as an Associate Veterinarian!!! Of course I won't start until after I graduate in May...but I got a job!!!! Looks like I will be back in goo...
