About Me

Riitis was born June 5th back when the dinosaurs still ruled the earth... He has made his mark by writing, arranging or producing music in many forms and of course, by his skills with his six-string and a performer as well. His first major record release was Skädäm "Mustat Joutsenet" (Epic), with his long-time colleague (since they were 5 years old), Frogley (Dingo), alongside the sticksman Eepo (Frogleys' brother), who later formed the group Cold Sweat. The artists or bands he's been collaborating with, are such like Skädäm, Yö, Muska, Irina and Cold Sweat to name just a few. For the last ten years or so, he's also been involved with the sundaynight Featuring Clubs @ Henry's pub, Tampere FIN. His leadership with his houseband has given such a many memorable moments on stage with featuring artists like Virve Rosti, Pate Mustajärvi, Olli Lindholm, Irina, Kirsi Ranto, Jussi Hakulinen, Costello Hautamäki, Vesa Jokinen and many more. The other bands he's working with are Frogley, Williams Family (Robbie Williams coverband with unique "Kiss" masks on...), R.O.K. (finnishrock combo), Joyride (Roxette covers), HurryGames, Mikko Siltala & Instant Superstars, Turbodiesel and Callum (UK/FIN with Lacu Lahtinen from Hanoi Rocks on drums). Lately he's been working on a new project with a young, but very talented female singer from Tampere. Most probably you will hear from them later on, maybe sooner than you think...
