About Me

I grew up Anacortes left to live in Eastern Washington when I was 12. I graduated Ephrata High School in '99. I partied all that summer until Sept. when I left for the Navy. That was my ticket out of that lame ass town. I got out of the Navy in Aug of '03. While I was in, I discovered breakbeats when I picked up a DJ Icey promo for the Essential mix cd. After that, I was hooked. Breaks is my thing, I love breaks like I love a member of my family. So now, I spin around Seattle every now and then, mostly at Contour. I am part of the sickest breaks crew in Seattle known as BEATCON and am very proud of it. I have what I consider to be a fun job doing security in a bigtime office building downtown and I live with the most awesome person in the world (my girlfriend). Breaks DJs unite!

My Interests

I'm interested in making my life the best it can be, having a positive effect on others, being focused, finding that one record you've been looking for forever and the first time you get play it out, going out, staying in, meeting good peoples, cool retro shit from 80's & 90's... Having a blast, and enjoying life in Seattle!

Other DJs around Seattle and the West Coast. People who like to go out to clubs. Any old friends I may come back into contact with. Fun loving people, good positive people. ANYONE WHO LOVES BREAKS!

Ohhh, let's see... DJ's Icey, Baby Anne (I love you), Fixx, Huda Hudia, Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie, Plump DJ's, Autobotz, Infiniti, Sharaz, Madame Mercury, Simply Jeff, Jackal & Hyde, Breakfastaz, Myagi, Auratone and Neosouls, BT, ...oh and Linkin Park and Old School Rap (not much past 2000). CAN'T STAND POP!

Movies:

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (favorite), The Ring, Pitch Black, War of the Worlds, Revenge of Sith (c'mon it's badass!), Friday, 40 yr. old Virgin (funniest movie I've EVER SEEN!), TRON, The Hulk, Groove, Matrix Series...Predator movies, Open Water, Collateral, Swingers, Go, Goonies, Transformers was the coolest movie I never thought would be possible... more to come.

Television:

Yeah, I like to relax with some T.V. after a long day... so what? The Real World (hey, I liked it all the way back in season 1...), Family Guy, Venture Brothers, Simpsons, DBZ (once in a while), Mythbusters, Futurama, CSI Miami and Vegas, Heros is amazing. I like to watch the news before work although it usually tends to depress me a little bit. ahh, more to come...

Books:

I didn't read for a really long time then just read 2010: Odyssey Two and now I think I'm going to be reading a bit more often. I heard there was a third and fourth book in the Odyssey series.

Heroes:

Icey, Simply Jeff, My Dad, Big Bro, Dr. Faucette (my old humanities prof.)...um, Goku...The dude from Swingers, "You're so money, baby and you don't even know it!"

I feel like...I was put on this Earth to love this woman. When I make her happy I feel so good. It makes me feel so alive and the more I love her, the more I love myself. I love myself no matter what...
