So, my name is Alicia..and music is my passion. Wow..that sounded so dull, oh well. I've been playing guitar for 6 years now and teaching with Archer Guitar School for 2. I'm usually a very honest, straight forward type of person, but if I don't like something i'll tell you. Most people, upon meeting me, think i'm really quiet and shy--my friends know better 8 ) I'm currently finishing up pre-pharmacy and webpage design at Jeffstate. Then, it's off to Samford for my Masters in Music Education and possibly Pharmacy, if I get that far. I'm finding the reality of life in general to be a bit more than I bargained for..work, college, establishing a future, etc..it's scary stuff. Anywho, I guess i'm still a geek at heart--I think cherry blossom trees are the most beautiful thing on the planet, I still watch the movie Superstar and laugh, I still think Michael Jackson has the most awesome dance moves ever, I love to READ, and I love Italian food (especially from Lovoys). I'm not a big party girl or a fan of large crowds, but I do like to get together with a few friends and have a whiskey sour every now and then 8 ) My favorite movie of all time is Victor Victoria starring Julie Andrews, James Garner, and Robert Preston. And while i'm on the subject, Julie Andrews is my hero! My favorite band is probably unknown to most of you who don't seek out 60's and 70's music--a little group that has a rock/blues/celtic sound, Jethro Tull.(for great listening see 'song for jeffrey', 'velvet green', and 'aqualung') ..and of course being a guitarist I hafta name my top 3 ..Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and Eric Johnson. However, my musical taste is not just limited to rock--as a matter of fact I'm a fan of all kinds of music except for 2 1/2 genres..polka, opera, and sometimes country. yep....so, i've run out of things to tell about myself, so I guess this would be a good stopping place. If you would like to know anything else, feel free to ask..or see the extended list, that i'm too lazy to erase, below.

- i'm studying to be a pharmacist

- my favorite color is maroon ..black to wear
- i don't usually fall asleep til 2 or 3am
- i procrastinate
- i am and always will be addicted to coffee
- my favorite state to visit is Tennessee
- if you want to know why everyone screams "Hey you wanna
buy a possum?!" at me...just ask
- i play music every night to make me go to sleep
- my most overused words are "anywho" and "ignunt"
- A friend and i once made a videotape of me re-enacting the
"tree makeout" scene in Superstar
- i'm an only child
- there are 8 telephones in my house (not including cellphones)
- Aerosmith rocks my socks!

- i love my friends; their awesome.

*people hovering over me when i'm sitting down
*staring at me while i eat
*people putting their raunchy feet near me
*people who are never on time
*people driving slow in the fast lane
*having saran wrap, vasonline, condoms, and or kotex
products put on my vehicle (ahem..KC and BROCK)
*people who say their gonna call you and never do
*liars
*being called between 5pm - 8pm on Monday nights

- i'm shy around people i don't know, but will open up around close friends

- i'm deathly afraid of heights and clowns

- i have 2 tattoos (an 8th note going thru a heart on my right
hip and a cat w/ big eyes on my left hip)
- sometimes i sing in the shower...if everyone's asleep
- my favorite restaurants are Lovoys, Golden Palace, Charlsie's Catering, and the Purple Onion
- i have a fast metabolism and can eat every 15 minutes
- my favorite drinks are Dr. Pepper, Red Bull, and whiskey sours
- i kick butt at most sports

- my favorite professor is Dr. Armstrong
