We've been recording on multi tracks at houses and duplicating small numbers of EP’s and albums for our own and promotional use for years, its a good way to make yourself think your not kicking a dead pig. We've also played occasional DJ slots and put on Scottish Indie/electronic nights. We know loads of people with a large backlog of tracks and rather than ‘get signed’ the DIY record label route is now the plan. Engaging in low cost music recording and budget duplication and distribution of CD’s and MP3’s, great man.Scottish indie/experimental/electronic music will be the mainstay of the label. The emphasis being to provide the uncatered for sub HMV/Virgin music audience which despite a loyal and dedicated following manages to evade commercial recognition or success.Central Belt artists are the label and we hope to achieve a total avoidance of pub pop and indie by numbers mediocre career rock. The ethos of the label will be to provide an antidote to mass produced globally advertised and nationally worshipped entertainers who have little relevance to people who genuinely ‘listen’ to hours of music a day and actively seek music that they can relate to and admire without being force fed sick edged charity media selections, post soap karaoke and slow news week flavours of the month.
