About Me

  • Currently doing the struggling college student thing with my fabulous husband Eric. Loving every minute.
  • Me: Let’s see…I’m a little thing. People always think I’m younger than I am. Or they think I need to eat something. Anyways… I think I’m pretty feisty and hardworking. I take my education seriously. When I want to achieve something, I go for it. I love going to school because my mind needs constant stimulation. I’m always asking questions. For me, life is about trying new things, seeing new places, and taking intelligent risks. I was raised Mennonite, which has had some influence on my philosophy on life. I try not to let material things rule my life. I would prefer to spend money on experiences rather than on "stuff". I’m anti-war and hope to spend more of my time serving others. I’m an optimist. I can be shy around people I don’t know. I lean to the left...but I also don't like to condemn people for their beliefs. Whatever floats your boat. I’m a Gemini (twins) and I think the world is full of dualities. Yin and yang. I’m also afraid of tractor trailers and my pet peeves are bad spelling/typos, male chauvinists, SUVs, breast implants, lazy people, and cats puking.

    My Interests

Art and Design - any kind: I appreciate any creative thought. Art history, Art Nouveau, graphic design. My favorite artist is Alphonse Mucha. Traveling is very important and a priority for me. I think it shapes a person and helps in understanding the world. I like trying new things, working on my cooking skills, hiking, camping, vegging in front of the TV, reading, going to movies, bars, concerts, the ocean, snorkeling, animals and earth science, ancient civilizations, current events, playing with my kitties, web design, Sudoku puzzles, soccer, horsebackriding when I get the chance.

    I'd like to meet:

Old friends from the past, or acquaintances that I never took the time to get to know better. Ozzy and Sharon, Anthony Bourdain, Tyra Banks (make fun all you want)

    Music:

Classic Rock, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Tool, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Coldplay, Dido, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Pantera to name a few.
