About Me

I Love to Think... .. .
" To contemplate is man's greatest endeavor"
- Socrates
I seem to be going through a spontaneous and random list of ways not to die, by process of elimination.
"As an optomist I want everyone to be happy.
As a masochist; everyone but me.
As a pessimist, I know it probably won't happen.
As a sadist I don't really care.
As a realist I'll give it a try."
- me
Blah... Blah... Blah... and other melancholy bullshit, that keeps going.
The truth is I love a great time with anyone who smiles more than they frown. A good or even satisfactory sense of humor is what keeps us from being terrorists in the literal or figurative sense.
I listen to lyrics not just the music. Everything is an art form. Nothing needs a title.
"I love it when you smile
'cause I like to look at it
I love to MAKE you smile
Just because I'm good at it."
- Slug (Aesoprock)
There is an old Rastafarian philosophy which goes; the use of "we" can always be substituted by "I" or vice versa. "We" are one and so...
...One Love
"Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned, everywhere is war and until there are no longer first-class and second-class citizens of any nation, until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes. And until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race, there is war. And until that day, the dream of lasting peace, world citizenship, rule of international morality, will remain but a fleeting illusion to be pursued, but never attained."
- Emperor Haile Selassie I
"My mother said to me, “If you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope.” Instead, I was a painter, and became Picasso."
- Pablo Picasso

How to Love

Go into a pitch black room and let the darkness sink in. Look around and picture someone there. Leave the room, and go see that person.
