About Me

What’s up everybody, this is Devant’e the King, and you’re at my official MySpace profile. I don’t feel it necessary to write a biography, so I’m just gonna play it cool and talk to ya’ll a bit about me, who I am and why I’m here. I’m a music business professional, and by that I mean that music is my life and my love. This next part is gonna take a minute:I’m a singer, songwriter, record producer, arranger, composer, musician, engineer, studio facility owner, mastering technician, record label owner and executive, music publisher and General entertainment entrepreneur.
As a singer, I have released a couple of albums which are available worldwide in the R&B format, and which some people would argue are bonafide R&B classics in a genre that suffers. If you’re interested, they are "Ready or Not" and "The Foundation," the follow up to "Ready or Not." I am also a certified industry rapper (no joke, check out Daphne’s "Holla At Me", or my "Buy U A Drank Remix" if you think I’m kidding.) So I pretty much do everything music. It’s one of the main reasons God put me here on earth. For those of you who don’t know music business and just need a simplified summary: I’m basically like Usher, Jay-Z, Diddy, Dianne Warren, Babyface, The Neptunes, Scott Storch and Frank Sinatra all wrapped up in one. (Did I Just say Frank Sinatra? Random. lol) I should probably say I try to do all of their jobs and do arguably well at it.
I could get into a whole plethora of other things, such as being an author, ghostwriter, relationship counselor, etc, but those things are irrelevant to my Music Myspace. So that’s pretty much it, if you need hit records for your artists, I’m the one you wanna come see. Believe me. Other than that, to all of my fans, I love ya’ll, hit me up and show me love back.
