Public Eyez

The group was formed on 07.07.2000. The name Public Eyez was chosen as it represented the groups main objective, to write and rap about issues that affects the average man on the street. We strictly believe in writing about the things that we experience, and not what we see through the media. We do not rap about wanting to rob banks or doing drive-bys because of a simple reason; we do not do it and dont plan to.
Public Eyez's influences as a crew are mainly from Beastie Boys, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Ludacris, Dr.Dre, Snoop Dog, Public Enemy, Dilated People & Jurassic5. We do not take ourselves too seriously when we write our lyrics. We try to inject humor in songs and also when were on stage as we believe that were first and foremost, entertainers. We have an obligation to fulfill when we go on stage and that is to entertain the crowd.
Presently, were working on an EP and hope to release it SOON. We'll keep yall updated.
