NORNE is a Siegen-based all-star bastard of members of "Since The Day", "Sarx", "Six Reasons To Kill" and "Reincarnated". Brought to life in early 2004, the band spent energy on preparing to blow their fans‘ ears and minds with a crude, yet intense sonic assault. Heavy is their background, open their mind, sad their mood, desperate their situation - guess what type of sound might stem from this mix . . .Cast into energetic and abstractly apocalyptic blasts, the best of death, black and heavy metal clashes with current hardcore. Just to breed this monster of 1000-ton pressure and push it beyond any nerdy labelling restriction. A pumping furnace of a glowing pulse, yet full of tiny, eerie struggles to express what‘s beneath. Beneath all apparent certainties and cheaply bought safeties.Lyrically, NORNE stick to what they know best: growing up in Germany‘s largest forest area, they learned how to focus on everyday‘s yearning and loneliness, and transform these energies into everlasting racks to build songs on.
