The Yellow Spotted Horse group was formed in 1994 under the direction of Oliver Littlecook Sr. The singers are a fine group of young men and women who represent tribes from north central Oklahoma. Among them are Ponca, Otoe, Pawnee, Osage and Kaw tribes. Having grown up in the Pow-wow arena, and whose ties are strengthened by inner-relationships, it was inevitable that this group would come together.
The group also hopes to inspire our indian youth in tradition and education.
