COMPULSIVE MUSIC
In February 2006, after studying the House music market for four years, DJ Exacta launched his own record label, Compulsive Music. Compulsive Music is a digital e-label that delivers fresh, cutting-edge House music and the lifestyle that it encompasses.
On a more general basis, the mission of Compulsive Music is to promote and perpetuate dance music as a stronger force in American and worldwide pop culture. At the moment House music isn't as visible on Radio, TV or in the tabloids (heaven help us) as other musical genres. Through Compulsive Music and its artists, Exacta would like to help enhance the visibility of dance music and the House music lifestyle.
Compulsive Music will also be producing events worldwide to celebrate their artists, record releases or general company milestones. When you attend a Compulsive Music party one of the most identifying characteristics you will notice is the music savvy crowd. Compulsive Music and DJ Exacta have built a loyal following with dance music connoisseurs that not only love the classics, but they are always ready and eager to sample something new.
Compulsive Music recently released its debut single, Exactas reinterpretation of the House classic "Pride (A Deeper Love)" featuring vocals by Compulsives own Diane Nelson. Not only has Roger Sanchez put "Pride" on his Radio One Essential Mix show, but the track is heavily supported by the likes of Erick Morillo, Deep Dish, Chus & Ceballos, Saeed and Behrouz.
