The infamous Ella Fitzgerald once said there was nothing she liked better than singing, except singing some more! These might be the words of an up and coming vocalist Brittany MonTeil Williams. Since the age of 8 years old “B” has been entertaining audiences in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. Winning every talent show she entered from 5th grade to graduation, the little girl with the awesome voice has bloomed into Albuquerque’s own desert flower on the music scene. With the look of Billy Holiday, the sultry sounds of Toni Braxton, and the soulful array of Chaka Khan, she’s mixing it up with R&B and Jazz intonations. Like many performing artists her musical talents first showed within the church choir. When she sang Because He Lives there was not a dry eye in the congregation. As a performing artist she sang and acted in South Broadway productions such as Walk Like A Queen and In the Spirit, where she gave an outstanding tribute to Phyllis Hyman. Throughout the last decade she has graced many with her presence for numerous special events. Sickle Cell Annual Gala, NM State Fair, and a finalist in the New Mexico Mic Awards (2007).
