My Grandfather who passed away when my dad was a little boy, Chuck Close who is an amazing painter, as well as Picasso and Georgia O'Keeffe. someone who actually understands what the word FRIEND means!!! friend(frend)n. 1. a person whom one knows well and is fond of 2. an ally, supporter, or sympathizer ... I mean don't get me wrong, I have some marvelous friends...but the fact of the matter is that so many people are flaky and just don't "get" the concept. I have basically been blessed enough to have the friends (and family) who mean the most to me close at hand!
