My Name is Derek. I'm currently Interning in the DA's office for the Shelby County Government's Law Department. It's been a very eye opening and objective opportunity. I'm hoping to become a lawyer, but still deciding on what to specialize in. My long term goal is to serve in the United States Senate. - I just began work on Herman Morris' campaign for Mayor of Memphis. - I am also involving myself with George Monger's campaign for District 8 City Council. - I am organizing my own Non-profit Organization called MPAC(Memphis Political Action Committee).
