About Me

Delighted to be returning to the Airport Club in Shoreham in 2009 - if you haven't been, it's time you did!!! "Going back to my roots..." That's what I'm up to at the moment - paring back my music to the basics of me and a guitar (with a little support now and then) and concentrating on writing, performing and recording - songs from the heart (and other interesting locations sometimes...) straight from me, to you xox IF YOU LIKE WHAT I DO AND ARE INTERESTED IN MAKING MUSIC TOGETHER - GET IN TOUCH!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE IN REACH OF THE SOUTH COAST :) Many thanks to all the musicians and singers who've accompanied me on my more acoustic outings: Gary Jones, Caroline Dieudonne, Hilary Dyer, (not forgetting Andrew & Michiel) to name a few. Bands I have fronted include - THE WAIT; ATLANTIS; NEWSPEAK (many thanks to Colin Massey, Phil Mayhew and Jim Di Salvo); SAMARKAND, AND RAINBOW NATION - for 9 years! I met Simon Ferrigno, guitarist and co-writer, back in 1994 (ish) and we went on to attract some great musicians, have a lot of gigs and fun, record an album -SHADOW & SOUL, and write a catalogue of great songs together.Memorable gigs include: Kingston Green Fair, Strawberry Fair and Deepdale Jazz Festival.RAINBOW NATION has now disbanded, after countless changes in line-up, but no change in our commitment to keep on fusing different sounds, rhythyms and people, so that we, and our audience shared happy times. Thank yous and big hugs to all the folks who contributed to the band over the years in particular: Simon Ferrigno, Lindsay Legane, Miriam (Myo), Tony Wright, Ermo Van Frankyvle, Hedi Ben Amor, Pete Ardron. All those not mentioned here - you know who you are, and just because I'm rubbish with names doesn't mean I'm not grateful...
