I believe this 100%: The true essence of being is determined by your life purpose. Struggles, stress, trials, and tribulations all stem from the human instinct to be unique and to be valued. We all strive to attain validation, appreciation, and the sense of worth which is derived from sharing warmth positivity, motivation, compassion, and reciprocity from others. Once we realize that the best form of control is to realize that we don't really control very much, we can relax in the knowledge that if we operate with a sense of doing the right thing, we will truly experience goodness in life! Straying from our true paths is obvious from the negative experiences we endure because of our stubborn natures. Sometimes we are striving to please others, gain approval, or live up to some unspoken, unwritten societal standard of what success is. As soon as we can learn to live for ourselves according to our true instincts, we can be happy. Money, fame, popularity, material possessions, what do they all mean if we can't sit alone and confidently sigh to ourselves with the self-approval and knowledge that we are on our destined path, fulfilling our purpose, and living according to our own true standards of success.
