I don't have a microwave. But I do have a clock that occassionally cooks shit.

About Me

i have come to realize the beauty of the ever changing and evolving mind that is set apart from all it has known and allowed nothing but the tools of its past to build the complete makings of its future...so here i am, 1 year after finishing that 4 year respite from real life we know of as college, where I assumed I had just about the best 4 years of my life...that is, until I began taking in my present and realizing my future...i will never be stagnant...i will never complain about life while simultaneously doing nothing to change it...life gives me lemons, i make lemonade...and if that lemonade is still a bit too sour for my liking, i'll add a little strawberry flavoring, or perhaps something exotic, like mango...yes, that was a metaphor...life is what you make of it, not what it makes of you...so i'm going to make life ROCK MY FACE OFF...and here's just a snippet of the things the Kat loves about life..... Ralph from the Simpsons, getting over things REAL fast, lipgloss(unless it's windy, then my hair sticks to my lips), music that makes my head bob without me even noticing, lucid dreams, being single, waking up earlier then I say I will, symphonies, firm handshakes, people who don’t complain, iced coffee w/ sweet & low, agreeing to disagree, interesting names for crayons, body language, celery and peanut butter, being REALLY warm, the 2nd to last page of a book, seeing something that reminds me of someone, shoulder freckles, trying not to laugh, then laughing, creatively writing @ 2 a.m, finding random things in my pockets, optimism, ice, looking people directly in the eyes when i'm talking to them, smelling the body wash on the loofah, asking questions, any word that requires me to roll the “r”, referring to myself in the 3rd person, spraying whip cream directly from the can into my mouth, being surprised, smiling @ people I don’t know, going in instead of going through the drive-thru, the fact that I’m naked underneath my clothes, nicknames, eating a Reese’s the wrong way, learning from my mistakes, not realizing how awesome a song is until the 3rd or 4th time I listen to it, being honest, the smell of towels right out of the dryer, not knowing what is going to happen tomorrow....or even 5 minutes from now.....to be continued.....

My Interests

anything that doesn't kill me only makes me stronger...

I'd like to meet:

those who don't take life too seriously, yet have enough drive to keep them optimistically afloat...the good ol' balance...eh, screw it, i'd like to meet pretty much everybody, ever...

Music:

my music flame has just recently become a forest fire...i'm diggin many aspects of music, whether it be something hard, something soft, something new, something old...if i attempted to make a list, it would take up the entire page, yet i must emphasize my love for music out of the ordinary...strange beats, odd sounds that don't even seem like they would be able to fit in music, but once they're there, it's mindblowing...as myspace would catagorize it, i like 'experimental/indie/acoustic/emo/electronica/techno/progress ive/ambient/psychedelic/house'...nuff said

Movies:

Quentin Tarantino and myself share a close, personal and loving relationship...a few others - eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, fight club, the lives of others, snatch, waking life, lock stock and two smoking barrells, memento, boondock saints, and the list goes on and on

Television:

i came to the conclusion a while back that t.v. is no longer an interest of mine....unless it's arrested development, flight of the conchords, it's always sunny in philadelphia, the history channel, colbert report, the office, or man vs. wild. the end.

Books:

anything chuck palahniuk, david sedaris, Dave Eggers or augusten burroughs..Ayn Rand in small doses...and anything i can get 10 pages in without putting down...i figure one of the greatest tools in life is knowledge, and you can gain nothing but knowledge by reading books....unless it's that ridiculous stuff that smart people (insert sarcasm here) like paris hilton pretend to write (as if she even knows how to spell)...I will punch you in the throat if I ever see you reading that..trust me, you'll thank me later...

Heroes:

your mom....i know, very original, right?...

A kind of genius can come from a deprivation of sensation, of experience. It has been mistaken as naive intelligence, when in fact i is empty intelligence, pure intelligence. the composition of the mi...
