About Me

I love the celestial sky because it so completely connects me to the world and its people. When I gaze upon the stars I can't help but marvel at the power of its gaze upon me, a gaze which so casually transcends space and time. Its constant presence over my past, present and future gives me a sense of unity and spiritual congress with the whole of the universe.
As I sit under the stars and contemplate my own worries and wonders I imagine all my ancestors and all my decedents looking up at the same sky with the same worries, the same wonders, and the same stupid look on their face as the same crazy thought comes to their mind.
The thought of how the utter chaos in which the stars were conceived could have possibly given birth to the raw beauty of the night sky. A thought that somehow manages to give me hope for the existence of something in the universe akin to the human soul.
Other than that, I would say that I am pretty darn dorky but probably not as dorky as I would like to be.
