Mike Tinoco a.k.a. Eachbox is a professional beatboxer and vocalist from the Bay Area. He's shared the stage with numerous renowned artists including: Doug E. Fresh, Rahzel and Scratch from The Roots, Kenny Muhammad, DJ Quest, Kid Beyond, The Shotgun Wedding Quintet, Zoë Keating, Z-man (One Block Radius), Aya de Leon, Mina Liccione of Stomp!, and more.
His most notable performances include performing at the 2004 Human Beatbox Convention in New York City, participating in the first International Human Beatbox Championship in Germany, and doing a tour in England with fellow beatboxer, Poizunus .
Aside from performing on stage, he's greatly contributed towards the San Francisco-based beatbox collective, The Vowel Movement, as an organizer and an artist. Most recently, he was the lead organizer for the 2007 West Coast Beatbox Battle in Berkeley and also helped organize the Vowel Movement's third anniversary festival in 2006.
He recently released 'The Beat Within', an EP that was done in collaboration with SF-based producers, Cubik and Origami. It's a blend of beatbox, electronica, live instruments, and improvised music. You can get your copy here !
