IMANI

Imani is a young female born in 1986 in a small town called Karachi located in Pakistan, her parents are originally from east Africa Somalia, she came to the states when she was about 11 years old. This talented young woman came from a family who are very strict n very religious! But that didn’t stop her fulfilling her dreams and wanting to become a singer, singing is what imani always wanted to do it was part of her life. Imani started her career when she was 13 years old in middle school she used to sing at the talent shows! Everywhere there’s a music she was in it, imani started off singing in Arabic, Somali, n Hindi then slowly she started to write her own lyrics started to sing in English. She struggled so much to do what she’ve always dreamed of doing, in 2004 her last year of school she met a Somalian producer named Mohamed she worked with him for about 3 months or so they didn’t have anything in common he wasn’t leading her were she wanted to go. After couple of years she met the shushumow guys, she did couple of songs with them. This talented young female was still hungry for more! She started to work hard just to pay for her studio time n everything else. She recording couple of songs with a producer named Menace, now that she did her demo album she still moving hard and wants to achieve what she always wanted in life. We pray n hope that this young female artist gets somewhere in life. AND THAT IS IMANI’S STORY
