About Me

"The Nine Volts band charges its music with some real bootleg soul.
Drawing on a range of influences from the Flaming Lips to Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr. to Tom Petty, The Nine Volts is a great roots rock group with an indie-edge.
The band's core members are (central florida) scene veterans guitarist James Mitchell, former member of prominent groups such as the Green Goblyn Project, Lopez Jar, Red Soda and Placebo; and singer-songwriter Conrad Wilson, formerly of Lopez Jar and Red Soda.
The Nine Volts are recording a new EP. Check this Web site for future gigs and a release date -- this is a local disc you're going to want to lay down a 10-spot for."
